Please Stop Ego Surfing

I get a report of visits to this blog, and when someone lands here via a search engine, I am told what they searched for.

Day in and day out, several times, in fact, someone searches for “Jody Mientkiewicz”, the wife of former Red Sox and current Met, Doug Mientkiewicz. They wind up on this blog because of a satirical piece I did when Mientkiewicz said he was keeping the World Series ball to help put his kids through college (he was either being funny or not, depending on your viewpoint).

Now, I’m not the brigthest bulb in the box, but I have to believe the only person who would search for Jody Mientkiewicz day after day is…. Jody Mientkiewicz.

So, Jody, if you’re reading this: No More Ego Surfing, please.
