I am not sure how Christians would think of a song written in the same “funny” way about the crusades and how all Christians loved to devestate their own most holy land, rape the women, kill the children and burn down everything for the glory of god.

The bible is just as violent as the Quran (remember how Moses told his army to take the women of the village they raided as their own? I do and it’s called rape).

In fact, one critism of the Quran is that the whole thing is just a re-write of the bible (but without the glaring contradictions - carry your own cross BUT he died for our sins yada yada…..).
As for the crusades, the bible is littered with quotes that would justify them ALL (there was more than one murderous rampage). You only have to bother to look (i know! i know! You’re all too busy being xenophobes

btw infidel only relates to non-believers. Jews and Christians, according to Islam, are termed ‘ay-yal al kitab’, meaning ‘people of the book’. Mohammed said, “….there will be 99 jewish sects before judgement day and 1 will go to heavan, there will be 101 christian sects and 1 will go to heavan and there will be 100 muslim sects, only 1 will go to heavan…….”.
In other words, Islam is the only monotheist faith which accepts the others. Jews call non-jews ‘gentiles’, Christians say only christ can save…..so imagine now, if there is a God - how would he be?

Let me get this straight… Are you saying that Christians and Jews are less tolerant than Muslims because the Koran acknowledges the other two religions?
How, short of time travel, would Christian and Jewish authors of the Old and New Testaments acknowledge the Koran and Muslims?
Actually, infidel is about as nice a term as you can get. We (being Christian or Jewish)are people of the book, we can the ‘nice’ treatment (beheadings etc). Now Heathens on the other hand (the ‘others’) are considered sub-human by Islamic extremists and get a far more horrible deal, they get exterminated like animals, the term genocide comes to mind.
And as for Christian extremism, Chritian literally means follower of Christ, who preached only love and compassion. The Crusades were misinterpretations of Old Testament literature. And besides, were the Crusades not an attempt to RECLAIM the Holy Lands after the Muslim hoardes kicked the Christians out during the violent expansions of Islam prior to the 10th C.
