Innocent Misunderstanding By Bush Shakes Up G8 Meetings

Bush_china_2 U.S. President George W. Bush’s bilateral meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao at the G8 Summit in Strelna, Russia took an awkward turn when Mr. Bush leaned over to his Chinese counterpart and asked, “Now, are you guys the ones who just lobbed those missiles into the ocean or are you the ones that made all those really cool Godzilla movies when I was growing up?” (AFP/Mandel Ngan)
