Even With Incriminating New Photograph, Saddam/Anthrax Connection Still In Dispute
As evidence continues to mount for the case that Saddam Hussein had an undeniably close and personal relationship with Anthrax during his tenure as Iraqi president, a photograph that was recently discovered by Coalition
forces in Iraq would appear to once and for all prove that theory without question. However, lawyers for the former Iraqi leader say that the picture proves nothing except that their client is being framed.
“My client still maintains his innocence with regards to any involvement with Anthrax,” stated Jake Filomena, his ACLU-appointed attorney. “While President Hussein’s musical tastes can best be described as ‘eclectic’, he has never at any time been a thrash metal fan. Check his I-Pod. You’ll find Burt Bacharach, The Chieftains and Louis Armstrong, but no Slayer and Megadeath and most assuredly, no Anthrax. To me, this picture smacks of photo editing software in the hands of a rank amateur with an axe to grind.”
A spokesman for the Coalition said he stands by the validity of the photograph.
“I stand by the validity of the photograph,” said a spokesman for the Coalition.
The spokesman went on to say, “The picture speaks for itself. Saddam Hussein clearly has, at bare minimum, a working relationship with Anthrax. And judging by the ecstatic expression on his face, I would have to say that he has probably partied with the band a few times if you catch my drift.”
